Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How is my child placed in a room?
A: Children are placed in small groups by their birth date. Our goal is to place children in groups that coordinate with the year they will begin school.
Q: What is your policy for sick children?
A: Please be sure that your child is fever and symptom free for 24hrs before coming to church preschool. If your child becomes ill while in our care you will be notified by the preschool staff.
Q: What if my child needs me during service and community group? A: The preschool department will contact you by either sending you a text message or by locating you in the worship center.
Q: Do I need to pack a snack and drink for my child?
A: A snack and diluted juice will be provided by the church. We ask that cups provided from home be labeled with your child’s name. Please be sure to notify the preschool team if your child has a food allergy so proper accommodations can be made.
Q: Do I need to provide anything for my child before arriving?
A: We ask that you provide a diaper bag/back-pack containing a change of clothes, and diapers and wipes if necessary. Please be sure to label all jackets, bags, cups, etc.
Q: Who will be caring for my child?
A: Parents of preschool children are on a rotation to monitor the children for the duration of the sermon; two adults are required to be in each room at all times. During community groups, our small group leaders will work with the children on building their relationship with our Lord. All parents, teachers and volunteers in our preschool department have received a cleared and approved background check.
Q: At what age can my baby stay in the nursery?
A: Babies are welcome in the nursery starting at six weeks old.
