Highland Preschool

Welcome to the preschool department! We believe parents have the biggest impact on their children's lives, and we are excited to partner with them in leading their children on their walk with Christ.

The preschool department is open on Sundays during worship and parents can begin dropping their children off as early as 9:15 Sunday morning.

Please refer to the frequently asked questions below for additional information. For more information please contact our preschool team leader, Elizabeth Moore at .

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How is my child placed in a room?
A: Children are placed in small groups by their birth date. Our goal is to place children in groups that coordinate with the year they will begin school.

Q: What is your policy for sick children?
A: Please be sure that your child is fever and symptom free for 24hrs before coming to church preschool. If your child becomes ill while in our care you will be notified by the preschool staff.

Q: What if my child needs me during service? A: The preschool department will contact you by either sending you a text message or by locating you in the worship center.

Q: Do I need to provide anything for my child before arriving?
A: We ask that you provide a diaper bag/back-pack containing a change of clothes, and diapers and wipes if necessary. Please be sure to label all jackets, bags, cups, etc.

Q: Who will be caring for my child?
A: Parents of preschool children are on a rotation to monitor the children for the duration of the sermon; two adults are required to be in each room at all times. All parents, teachers and volunteers in our preschool department have received a cleared and approved background check.

Q: At what age can my baby stay in the nursery?
A: Babies are welcome in the nursery starting at six weeks old.
